First session free
A real session, not a sales call — so you can feel the fit before committing to anything.
Bountiful, Utah
Moonbridge Therapy is a small, licensed practice for individuals and couples in Bountiful — built on the belief that the first, hardest step should be the easiest. That's why your first session is free.
Our approach
Life can feel overwhelming — and reaching out for help can feel like one more thing you don't have energy for. We keep the start simple. Answer a few quick questions, get matched with the licensed Utah therapist who fits what you're carrying, and meet them for a free first session. No insurance needed, no pressure, no performing.
Our therapists work from evidence-based approaches — Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, CBT and trauma-focused CBT, DBT, somatic, narrative, and existential work — but the method always serves the person, not the other way around. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, digital addiction, or strain in your closest relationships, the goal is the same: a life that feels more balanced, less stressful, and more your own.
A real session, not a sales call — so you can feel the fit before committing to anything.
We pair you with the therapist whose training and style fit what you're actually going through.
Meet us in Bountiful or from anywhere in Utah — whatever feels easier for you.
We accept major plans and verify your benefits for you before you ever sit down.
Meet your counselors
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC)
Originally from Denmark, Mike came to counseling the long way around — from construction painter to army paramedic to licensed therapist. That range is part of what makes him easy to talk to: nothing you bring feels too big or too ordinary. He works with trauma, anxiety, depression, digital addiction, grief, faith crises, and the family and partner strain that so often sits underneath. He holds an MA in Professional Counseling from Texas State University (2022) and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), DBT, trauma-focused CBT, and narrative therapy. He speaks English, Danish, German, and Swedish.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) · 17 years
Garrett has spent 17 years helping older adolescents, young adults, and high-level professionals — especially healthcare providers carrying a lot who rarely get to just be human. Therapy with Garrett is a real conversation: honest, supported, no performing. He specializes in depression, grief and loss, trauma, and PTSD, drawing on person-centered, narrative, somatic, EMDR, and existential approaches. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Utah (2008) and an MA from Southern Mississippi (2011), completed EMDR Level II training in 2013, and serves as an adjunct professor and licensure supervisor.
Certified Social Worker · Certified Family Life Educator
Melinda is a Certified Social Worker and Certified Family Life Educator who specializes in ADHD-informed therapy for children ages 5 and up, teens, and young adults — focus issues, forgetfulness, procrastination, overwhelm, impulsivity, and emotional dysregulation — and she supports the parents right alongside them. Her style is warm, practical, and strengths-based: understand how your brain works, reduce shame, and build routines that actually fit real life. She draws on TF-CBT, TBRI, DBT skills, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy).
